I’m just going to go ahead and answer a bunch of Instant Messages, Facebook messages and e-mails with one post because my Inbox is overflowing and I don’t want anybody to feel ignored. So, in no particular order:

• Yes, Mark is still reading.
• No, Mark is not blocked. He’s welcome to comment any time he wants.
• No, Mark hasn’t given me any really good material to work with lately. He’s gone docile like a lamb, there are no fake letters to the person with the Fisher-Price Web site publisher about how I’m a pox on Putnam County, he’d sooner eat fat-free frozen yogurt than write an “On the Mark” in which he’d actually have to acknowledge my existence, his stories aren’t even worth picking at lately and (unlike him) I’m not going to make something up to have some ammo.
• Yes, I heard about what happened at the fair. I’m waiting for independent confirmation from a trusted source.
• No, I don’t know if he got in trouble for being on the site at work, but his visits from the hotel have dropped off dramatically since the day he was at home and someone at the hotel spent two and a half hours catching up on all of his posts.
• No, I’m not single.
• Yes, I do plan to make a visit to West Virginia soon, and yes, I’ll post details when I have them.
