From today’s “job hazard” pile …
Was there really enough “best of” material with Enya to make “The Very Best of Enya”?
It almost feels, to me at least, like “The Very Best of Nickelback.”

My sister and I call this genre of music “Celtic Coma.”
The cover reminds me of the scene in The Money Pit where Tom Hanks is trapped in a hole in the floor because he’s caught in the rug.
Oh, and if you’re looking to get rid of it, my sister would LOVE that CD. Don’t ask.
*sigh*- I love me some Enya. But then again, I also love Josh Groban, Charlotte Church and any classical piano music. Somehow, it seems to fit nicely next to System of a Down, Muse, Killers, Raconteurs, Neil Diamond and Tori Amos collections… However, I absolutely draw the line at Celine Dion, though…. Everyone has their limit.
This kind of reminds me of when VH1 has done “Behind the Music” episodes about artists who have been out there for say, a year.
“Coming up next: The Jonas Brothers reveal the moment when it all fell apart.”
The cover also reminds me of a fancier version of those things firefighters use to catch people jumping out of burning buildings — or something like that.
I dont know if it’s the massive amount of Nyquil I just took or the image itself but it almost appears that the image moves…
In Flanders Fields the Enyas blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
