Before I begin the preparations of turkey and all … I wanted to wish all of my family, friends, readers, randoms, fans, haters and more a Happy Thanksgiving!
I could post a thousand words on things for which I’m thankful, but it could easily be summed up into five simple items:
My family (especially for another year with my father)
My friends (all of you — near and far)
My job (I’m so lucky to get paid to do what I love to do, every day)
This city (while I find myself hating it some days, I’ve learned more here than I ever would have if I’d never moved)
Being alive (which, if you live in this city and take public transportation, well … but seriously, I’m healthy, I’ve got a roof over my head and warm food on my table and I don’t really need anything. You can’t ask for much more.)
I hope if you decide to drop turkeys from a helicopter today, the lot’s empty, or they’ve suddenly learned how to fly.

One of the best comedy episodes, ever.
No doubt. Television will never be this awesome again.
I love ‘KRP but I’d never seen this episode before, so thanks for the clip… I had read Mr. Carlson’s closing line, but I didn’t realize how much Les Nesman had contributed to the comedy of that episode with his Hindenberg-like comedy — classic
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, GoDub…
