Motherscratcher, I’m sick of snow.
This is today’s hit, which should drop about three to six inches by morning. On Friday, some early models show a snow event of “historic proportion.”
Efffff. What’s going on? This is my second winter in Malaysia, and last winter, it snowed once. Once. About two inches. And it was over. This year, it doesn’t seem to stop.
Climate change. Pfft.

The early preliminary predictions for this weekend are anywhere from 15 to 30 inches of snow. PG County (aka: Malaysia) might get around the 15 range since you are closer to the Bay. But this is just the prelim. prediction. This could change wildly between now and Friday Morning when the news channels should have accumulations nailed down. I recommend getting some eats tomorrow and watching everyone go crazy.
Unfortunately, neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these editors from the swift completion of their appointed sections.
What was Punx Phil’s prediction, Ms. Ace Reporter? I’ve heard the Malaysian calendar is six weeks behind us, so it seems appropriate that it would just now begin to look a lot like Christmas

p.s. Rick Rod has deputized me to pull your Mountaineer card for complaining about winter, Nancy Girl
I’m sick of it, too! This weekend I am heading to the great state of Tennessee, so please pray for open restaurants and me not being stuck on the side of I-64, I-75 or I-40.
Ty: Hitting the grocery tonight to try to stave off the rash of panic buyers. Key is to get crock-pot food and stuff that can be used in a few ways. Oh, and Totino’s Pizza Rolls and Tater Tots, because I’m a critter.
Carissa: I just hope you avoid the snow panic that will shut down your entire trip! Good luck!! Be safe!!
TW: Prediction was right on — six more weeks of winter. And, you’re right! It’s Christmas in Malaysia!! Also, tell Rich he’s got plenty of time to enjoy winter since he can’t make a bowl. Oh, and Nancy Girl? Says the south Floridian Jamaican! It’s what? 70 today? BOOOOOOO!!
Heck, it’s even cold here in South Texas. I could cut glass.
I blame Global Warming.
> TW: Prediction was right on — six more weeks of winter.
More proof we need to replace The Weather Channel with Punx TV: All Phil, All The Time
> And, you’re right! It’s Christmas in Malaysia!!
All the coconuts are now frozen on the trees…
> Also, tell Rich he’s got plenty of time to enjoy winter since he can’t make a bowl.
Ouch; that hurt. You just ripped the scab off an ancient wound
> Oh, and Nancy Girl? Says the south Floridian Jamaican! It’s what? 70 today? BOOOOOOO!!
It’s actually 72 degrees, but that’s neither here nor there. I sense the quality time spent in the Metro this morning has made you bitter

Pfft…. 7″-14″ in Philadelphia County.
I am moving in with my fiance for the next week and make sure I have a place to park my car.
I’m supposed to drive to Frederick tomorrow afternoon after work. Even with the 4WD I don’t know if that will happen. I hope it holds off cause I’d much rather spend my 3 days weekend snowed in with my boyfriend than snowed in with my parents!
