That’s the view this morning (around 9:30 a.m.) from the fourth-floor balcony. I’m not 100 percent sure of snow totals right now, but I have been entertained watching the bulldozer try to get the snow plow on U.S. 1 unstuck. This doesn’t bode well for getting myself unstuck tomorrow.
But no worries … I have TV. And movies. And buffalo chicken dip. It’s not like I’m suffering, here.

At least all that time spent waiting at the grocery store was worth it!
God help you if you lose power. No heated woobie and no tv is a baaaaaaad scene.
I think the OG Paige just jinxed you =(
Just a few miles to the northeast, we are snowed in as well. It looks like we broke the 12″ mark, but drifts are exceeding 24″ already. Thank goodness that Walmart was out of all the easy stuff to eat because I am making pasta arribiata w/sausage for dinner and carrot cake w/cream cheese icing for dessert. The sauce is already simmering.
Superbowl??? Well, the home made salsa is chilling in the fridge and the wings will be General Buffalo Tso’s with my own glaze that does include the ingredients for original buffalo wings.
Mmmmm. Mmmmmm. Good.
Now out to take more picture of the snow carnage. Here is the link to this morning’s photo walk.

We got 33 inches of snow out my way. Little worried about the power. Every once in awhile the lights dim a couple times. I am really hoping it is just this bulb in my lamp that has been there for 3 years, but I somewhat doubt it. I will seriously go insane if I am without power for the 6 days they are telling everyone else.
I still can’t believe your snow in D.C. was worse than ours here in southeastern/south-central West Virginia. We usually look like something out of “The Day After Tomorrow” whenever Charleston or Huntington gets a dusting!
I know I’m a bigger snow wuss after living in Florida, but even the snow veterans around here are fed up with this. Finally, I’m not alone!
I just know I want my car back this coming weekend, and I want to be able to bring her home. This has gone on for too long!
I went out in only jeans and a fleexe to photo document. Where it was packed down at my house was 18 inches. Mid 20′s everywhere else in the yard. All following snow storms I said fuck off too and stayed inside all day and played The Sims 3. If I don’t get to see Erik this weekend I may go crazy. I’ve either been snowed in with my parents or at work. God help me, there was no buffalo dip!
